Unique Ceramic Wall Art for Residential Developments

Turn the Entrance of Your New Development into Its Signature

Site-specific ceramic wall art for residential developments, hospitality projects and exceptional interiors. Designed around the architecture, handmade in Vallauris, and scalable from approximately 4 to more than 40 square meters.

Discuss Your Project. See the Transformation

  • Entirely handmade in Vallauris
  • From 4 to 40+ m²
  • Designed for each individual building
  • Projects in France and internationally

Standard entrance

Same Building. A Completely Different First Impression.

The entrance is the first part of a residence that owners, visitors, and prospective buyers experience. Yet it is often completed with standard finishes and generic decoration.

A bespoke ceramic installation turns that transitional area into a place with identity: an entrance that belongs specifically to the building and cannot be repeated in another project.

Architectural visualizations. Every installation is individually designed for its project.

Art Conceived as Part of the Architecture

Tino Aiello’s ceramic wall installations are not standard artworks selected after the interior is complete. Each commission begins with the building: its proportions, materials, light, location and intended character.

The composition, relief, color palette and scale are developed in dialogue with the property developer, architect or interior designer. The result is a permanent architectural artwork that feels inseparable from its surroundings.

Create a Recognizable Identity

Give the residence a distinctive visual signature that residents and visitors immediately associate with the building.

Differentiate the Development

Replace a generic entrance treatment with an original artistic element that can also strengthen presentations, imagery and sales communication.

Connect Art and Location

Colors, textures and forms can respond to the architecture, landscape, history or atmosphere surrounding the project.

Commission at the Right Scale

From a focused ceramic accent to a two-story landmark installation, the work is designed around the available wall and viewing distance.

Art for every scale of development

From a 4 m² Art Accent to a 40 m² Landmark Installation

The Art Accent — approximately 4 to 8 m²

A concentrated ceramic composition for a boutique residence, reception wall, entrance area or lift lobby. Modest in scale, but strong enough to establish the interior’s identity.

The Signature Wall — approximately 10 to 20 m²

A prominent installation that defines the main entrance and becomes the visual center of the shared space.

The Architectural Installation — approximately 20 to 40+ m²

A monumental composition developed for a large or double-height entrance, prestigious residence, hotel or landmark project.

These categories are starting points, not fixed formats. Dimensions and composition are adapted to the project.

Tino Aiello; seven Generations of Ceramic Craftsmanship

Tino Aiello is a well-known ceramic artist based in Vallauris, the historic center of ceramic art on the French Riviera. His work continues a family tradition spanning seven generations, with roots in Sicily and Vallauris.

Having grown up among clay, kilns and potter’s wheels, Tino developed an instinctive understanding of the material and its possibilities. In 2022, he was named French Champion Tourneur Potier, recognizing his mastery of wheel-thrown ceramics.

Today, Tino creates entirely handmade pieces and architectural installations for luxury residences, hotels, restaurants, yachts and private clients. Every commission is original. There is no catalog design to enlarge, repeat or reproduce.

Created in Vallauris. Designed for your building. Made entirely by hand.

Made by hand

Material, Relief and Light

Ceramic art changes throughout the day. Natural light and carefully positioned architectural lighting reveal the relief, texture and traces of the hand that created it.

The work can be developed as a modular composition to suit the wall’s proportions and technical requirements. Color, finish, depth, panel layout, lighting and mounting are considered for each commission in coordination with the project team.

Final technical specifications and installation requirements are established after review of the architectural documents and site conditions.

From Architectural Brief to Final Installation

  1. 1. Share the Project Send the location, development concept, project phase, wall dimensions, and any available plans, elevations, material palettes, or renders.
  2. 2. Define the Artistic Direction Tino studies the project’s architecture, scale, light, and identity. Tino discusses the desired atmosphere and relationship with surrounding materials with the project team.
  3. 3. Review the Proposal A project-specific artistic direction is presented, including the intended composition, dimensions, relief, color palette and relationship with the entrance.
  4. 4. Coordinate the Technical Integration The modular layout, support, mounting, lighting and installation sequence are coordinated with the architect, interior designer and relevant technical partners.
  5. 5. Handmade Production and Installation The ceramic elements are formed and finished by hand in Vallauris before the completed work is installed as the building’s architectural signature.

Working with Developers, Architects and Interior Designers

Early involvement offers the greatest freedom to align the artwork with wall construction, lighting and material choices. You can also explore a commission later, while interior specifications are being finalized, provided the wall and installation conditions allow it.

Suitable projects include:

  • New residential developments and apartment buildings
  • Luxury and branded residences
  • Boutique and resort hotels
  • Renovated historic properties
  • Corporate headquarters and representative reception spaces
  • Private villas and exceptional interiors

Questions from Project Teams

How large can a ceramic wall installation be?

Projects can range from approximately 4 m² to more than 40 m². The scale, relief and modular construction are adapted to the wall, entrance proportions and viewing distance.

Is every installation unique?

Yes. Each work is developed specifically for its building. Existing artworks can communicate Tino’s artistic language, but they are not copied as catalog products.

Can the colors and finish match our material palette?

The artistic direction can respond to the project’s stone, plaster, wood, metal, fabrics and overall color palette while retaining the character of handmade ceramics.

At what stage should we involve Tino?

Ideally during architectural or interior design development, so the wall, lighting, and installation can be coordinated. Later-stage commissions may also be possible after a technical review.

How is a large ceramic work installed?

Large works are conceived as coordinated ceramic elements or panels. The precise support, mounting system, tolerances and installation method are determined for each building with the relevant project specialists.

Can you work from plans and renders?

Yes. Plans, elevations, renders, photographs, dimensions and material schedules provide an effective starting point for the first project discussion.

Do you accept projects outside the Côte d’Azur?

Yes. We can consider projects throughout France and internationally, subject to scope, schedule, and installation requirements.

How do we receive an initial proposal?

Send the available project information using the form below. After reviewing the brief, we will contact you to discuss artistic direction, feasibility, timing, and the next step toward a project-specific proposal.

What Could Ceramic Art Bring to Your Project?

Send us your plans, elevations or initial renders. We will explore how a bespoke ceramic installation could transform the entrance into a space residents remember.

No final design is required. A project location, approximate wall dimensions and an initial visual or drawing are enough to begin the conversation.

Professional inquiries from property developers, architects, interior designers and hospitality project teams are welcome.
